The Beat Goes On: a Bach Society Fundraising Concert last performed at the Bach on January 8, 2012.
All-star musicians and vocalists come together to show their appreciation for one of America's premier music venues.
Larry Vuckovich has gathered over a dozen seasoned veterans and new faces on the jazz scene who will perform an extended program of Dexter Gordon, Charlie Parker, Horace Silver, John Coltrane's music, some Afro-Cuban jazz, and Mexican boleros. Vocalists JACKIE RYAN and Jeff Oster will also join the celebration, as well as Grammy nominated percussionist JOHN SANTOS. This will be a swinging thank you bash with an international flavor introducing the Russian-born/American bebop guitarist Ilya Lushtak.
