Singer/musician Fred Ross knows how to stir the house. He has recorded with Aretha Franklin, members of Tower of Power, Santana, Chaka Kahn, the Commodores, and more, Toured US & Europe with Everyday People, and Fred Wesley of the James Brown Band. His band is notorious for their tributes to favorites like Sly Stone and James Brown. We discovered him at his regular gig at Harry Denton's Starlight Room in SF. This is the fourth year he’s been invited to bring his fantastic group of Bay Area musicians to perform a jazz listening set, then we clear the dance floor and boogied down to some Soul/Funk/Blues.
